We’ve had an exciting first week back in reception observing our butterflies! 🦋 We even observed one emerging from its cocoon! We have made sure they have had plenty of fruit, sugar water and flowers to keep them full and comfy until the last caterpillar turns into a butterfly. We have read The monkey puzzle and The woolly bear caterpillar to help consolidate our learning of the butterfly lifecycle. We have also enjoyed exploring our new topic and role playing trips to the beach 🏖️ 1 Likes
Year 2 have been learning about the importance of having good hygiene! We did a 'glitter germ' test to see how easily germs can be passed around! 🦠🛁🧽🧴 2 Likes
