“Pupils’ behaviour in school is exemplary”
OFSTED - January 2023
Brambles is a fantastic school which is set in a modern, purpose built building. We are lucky to have facilities which fully support our rich and stimulating curriculum, giving every child the opportunity to learn and flourish. We have a forest school, an immersion room, indoor hall space, a dance studio, a cooking room and fantastic outdoor spaces.Through our engaging curriculum, we will ensure that children can foster a passion for learning that willhelp to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories.
The children are at the heart of every decision we make in the development of our new academy to ensure that they are happy, confident and that the opportunities that we will provide them nurture their needs both now and in the future. We are proud to work in partnership with South Pennine Academies and Kirklees council.
I'm sure you will agree...

Photos from Brambles Primary Academy's postToday, 3 Aspen were introduced to our exciting new topic in maths... money! 💷💰 We used our mathematical vocabulary mats to help us think and speak like true mathematicians, confidently identifying coins and sorting them into pounds and pence. I was so impressed with how quickly the class grasped the concept and recognised the value of each coin. Fantastic work, 3 Aspen! 👏✨
So Year 6, the time has finally come, The dreaded SATs are here, But this is what you’ve worked for, Since you moved up in to this year. These tests will tell us what you’ve learned, And what you can recall, But there’s a million things, The SATs won’t tell us at all. They won’t tell us how you dance, Or draw, or sing, or run, Or tell us just how great you are, At any other things you’ve done. The SATs don’t measure super-ness, Or how kind or brave you are, They’re just a way of helping to see, All you’ve learned so far. So all we ask of each of you, Is to try the best you can, But no matter the score you’ll get, We’ll always be your fan! You’ve worked your socks off this year through, And now the time has come By this time next week, you can say, Phew, the SATs are done. So rest up, eat lots and get some sleep, So you’re ready and raring to go, To show those SATs test who’s the boss, And show them what you know! But remember that when they’re over, It doesn’t matter how you’ve done, Because you are wonderful, brilliant and fab, And you’ll be amazing in your lives to come! Believe in yourself. You are all amazing! 8 Likes
Photos from Brambles Primary Academy's postIn English, Year 3 Holly have been diving into the story The Wolves in the Walls by Neil Gaiman — and now we’re getting ready to write our own sequels! 📚✍️ To spark our imaginations, we had a very exciting Experience Day… but when we arrived, we discovered something strange: 🐾 Jam and bread scattered on the tables 🐾 Mysterious writing appeared on the board 🐾 Footprints and clues left all around the classroom! It looked like a mischievous animal had thrown a party and made a huge mess! The children became detectives for the day, searching for clues, imagining what creature could have caused the chaos, and designing their own animals to star in their sequel stories. 🐾🎨 We can't wait to see how their creative ideas come to life in their writing! 📝✨ 2 Likes
